Teacher Trainings for Continuing Education
Early childhood education professionals have a lot of training requirements to keep up with! MN Child Care Health Consultants offers several services to support child care staff including staff trainings. We offer the following staff trainings with this in mind. Each 2-hour training is provided on-site at your location. Sarah is a certified Content Expert through the Minnesota Center for Professional Development and all of the trainings we offer are approved for continuing education.
Abusive Head Trauma (DHS)
This Abusive Head Trauma training meets state training requirements for Child Care providers. The training curriculum will address the symptoms and consequences of abusive head trauma: identify risk factors for abusive head trauma and identify strategies to use when frustrated and stressed; review mandatory child abuse and neglect reporting.
