CPR and First Aid Training is now required by DHS Rule 2 and 3 for licensed child care providers every two years! (The old requirement was every three years). The new requirement states the training must be pediatric! MN Child Care Health Consultants, Inc. are American Heart Association authorized trainers. Let Registered Nurses who work as Health Consultants to Child Care Centers do your next CPR & First Aid training- we are experts working with child care providers! CPR training includes AED training. An AED, or Automated External Defibrillator, is a portable electronic device that automatically detects disturbances in the rhythm of a heartbeat and is able to treat an individual through defibrillation, the application of electrical therapy, allowing the heart to re-establish an effective rhythm.
