Teacher Trainings for Continuing Education

Early childhood education professionals have a lot of training requirements to keep up with! MN Child Care Health Consultants offers several services to support child care staff including staff trainings. We offer the following staff trainings with this in mind. Each 2-hour training is provided on-site at your location. Sarah is a certified Content Expert through the Minnesota Center for Professional Development and all of the trainings we offer are approved for continuing education.

Sudden Unexpected Infant Death

This training meets the training requirements for Child Care providers on Sudden Unexpected Infant Death. The training curriculum will address state regulations and national recommendations to reduce Sudden, Unexpected Infant Death (SUID) including SIDS, suffocation, and other sleep related infant deaths. Safe sleep environments will be discussed, as well as consequences of non-compliance with state regulations. Examples of a safe sleep policy will be available.
